I help industrial companies go from scattered energy data to reporting-ready insight.
After years in the energy sector, I kept seeing the same thing: companies are full of data, but have no reliable picture of their energy consumption. Not because they measure too little, but because the data doesn't connect, definitions diverge, and nobody has the time to get a grip on it.
I focus on the part that hurts most: the step from raw data to actionable insight. Not by building dashboards nobody uses, but by fixing the underlying structure — so that reporting maintains itself and the numbers add up.
My background is in data engineering, reporting automation, and energy compliance. I combine all three from a single role — which means I can tackle the technical side while understanding the compliance side.
I use what fits your situation best. Tools are means, not the product. The product is the insight that comes out of them.
JGP Consultancy is a sole trader. There is no team, no account manager, no junior doing the work. You work directly with me.
I deliberately work with multiple clients at once on scoped projects. That keeps me sharp, gives me the freedom to advise critically, and ensures you always get a real specialist — not someone sitting in to clock hours.
I don't do secondments or open-ended engagements. Not because I can't, but because I want to stay credible: when the project is done, it's done.
